Renewable energy is one of the most important topics in today's world. With global warming and climate change becoming increasingly prevalent, it is essential that we take steps to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and turn towards renewable sources of energy. Renewables offer a number of benefits over traditional forms of energy production, including reduced emissions, cost savings, job creation and improved public health outcomes. 

The use of renewable resources such as wind turbines or solar panels has grown significantly in recent years due to their affordability compared with conventional electricity generation methods like coal-fired power plants or nuclear reactors. In addition to providing clean electricity for homes and businesses across the country, renewables are also helping countries achieve their goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions while creating jobs at the same time. 

 

For example, according to data from The Solar Foundation’s National Solar Jobs Census 2020 report , there were more than 250 thousand people employed by solar companies in 2019 alone – an increase from 242 thousand employees reported just two years prior! This demonstrates how rapidly this industry can grow when given sufficient support from governments around the world who invest heavily into research & development programs that focus on developing new technologies related to renewables .  

 Furthermore , investing into renewable sources helps create a sustainable future where society no longer relies solely upon finite resources such as oil & natural gas but instead looks towards solutions which will benefit both current generations as well as those yet unborn . As technology continues advancing so too do opportunities open up whereby individuals can start taking advantage these green initiatives through activities such small scale home installations (e..g rooftop PV systems) all way up large scale projects like offshore wind farms - ultimately leading us closer towards achieving net zero carbon emission targets set forth by international organisations like UNFCCC's Paris Agreement .   

 All things considered it becomes clear why transitioning away form traditional forms nonrenewable energies should be seen not only necessary step forward but also an exciting opportunity which could potentially bring about significant economic growth boost employment sector while simultaneously protecting environment - making sure planet remains habitable long after our lifetimes have come gone !
